Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Anime TV & Downloader (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Anime TV & Downloader Android application (package com.anime.downloader) and on anime-downloader.animekill.com.

The Short Version

• No account is required. There is no sign-up and no login, so we do not hold a profile for you.
• Your downloads stay on your device. Video files are transferred directly between your device and the website you visit. They never pass through, and are never stored on, our servers.
• Your browsing history stays on your device. Tabs, history and bookmarks are stored locally and are not transmitted to us.
• We use third-party services for ads, analytics, crash reporting and push notifications, described below.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect the URLs you visit in the browser, and we do not receive a copy of any video you download.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most mobile apps, some information is collected automatically by the services we build on:

• Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, crash reports and general feature-usage events. This is used to fix bugs and understand which parts of the app people actually use.
• Advertising identifiers — your Android Advertising ID may be used by our advertising partners to serve and measure ads.
• Push token — if you allow notifications, a Firebase push token is generated so we can send app updates and announcements. It is not linked to your identity.
• Server log data — when the app or website contacts our servers, standard log entries (IP address, timestamp, user agent) are recorded for security and diagnostics.

Permissions We Request

• Storage / media — required to save downloaded video files to your device and play them back.
• Internet and network state — required to browse the web and download files.
• Notifications — used to show download progress and completion, and optional app announcements. You can deny or revoke this at any time in Android Settings.

Permissions are used only for the purposes listed above.

Third-Party Services

The app includes the following third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, push messaging) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Unity Ads and InMobi (ad mediation partners) — see Unity and InMobi

Advertising

The app is supported by ads. Our advertising partners may use cookies and device identifiers to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure their performance. You can limit this at any time on Android via Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you may delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.

Websites You Visit

Anime TV & Downloader is a web browser. Any website you open inside it is operated by a third party and governed by that site's own privacy policy, not this one. We have no control over what those sites collect. Cookies set by those sites are stored in the app's WebView and can be cleared from the app's settings.

Data Retention

Data held on your device — downloads, history, bookmarks and settings — remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Aggregated analytics and crash data are retained by Google Firebase according to its own retention schedule.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data relating to you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not operate accounts, the most direct controls are:

• Clear app data, or uninstall the app, to remove everything stored locally.
• Reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings.
• Turn off notifications to stop push messaging.
• Contact us at admin@animekill.com, or use our data deletion page, to request deletion of any data we hold.

We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Anime TV & Downloader is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date on this page, and where appropriate announced in the app.
